A Business Should Not Depend On Advertising! Why?

Advertising is one of the essential parts of your business. Perfect advertising has the power to transform a random person into a potential customer.
Still, a business should not depend only on advertisements. I know many people around me who started a company depending on advertising only. For this apparent reason, they had to quit soon. There are many reasons behind it, but the main one is- less knowledge of business and advertising! You can sell poor-quality products or services by running a solid advertising campaign. But, you will be exposed sooner as your business model is not genuine or valid.
Why your business should not depend only on Advertising-
Reason 1. It violets the purpose of advertising:
The future of a business depends only on product quality and its usefulness. Suppose you are unable to deliver valuable products/services to the people. In that case, your business will not run longer (it’s too simple to understand). Advertising can give you some quick sales but cannot provide long-term business revenue.
Here advertising can only boost your business performance so that your business can get more visibility and more customers within a short time. But, further action depends only on your product quality.
Reason 2. Advertising is costly:
Today advertising is costly for both printed and digital mediums. So, if your business depends only on advertising, your revenue will probably be lower than expected.
Reason 3. You have to target new people every time:
If your product quality is low, you must always find new customers. Because you will never get repeated customers. And getting new people every time is too difficult. You need to change advertising platforms every time, whether it’s printed media or a digital medium. It’s not the way of business!
Reason 4. You are cheating people: It’s tough to digest, but the truth is- your business is cheating people directly or indirectly! It’s all because your product/service quality is low, and you’re making people fool by using fascinating advertising.
Therefore, don’t think of a business which will only depend on promotion and advertising!

All good points on providing good products or services in addition to your advertising or don't bother. Seems obvious, but for some, maybe not.
