Google AdSense is the best online contextual advertising program on the internet. This advertising program has launched by Google Inc. in March 2003. Initially AdSense had served only text based ads on publisher’s websites, but now it has plenty of ad categories including text, image, and reach media (video and graphics) ads.

- Here is no need to choose the perfect advertisements manually.
- Different type of banners and text units available.
- Easy to maintain.
- AdSense gives much higher CTR rate than other advertising programs.
- You can allow and block ads by categories and sub-categories.
- The majority of website owner are monetizing their website using AdSense.
Disadvantage of using AdSense:
AdSense is the most popular and most reliable online advertising program on the internet. So, everybody eager to get this, but nobody tries to find its disadvantage. Many webmasters are still not interested in using AdSense to monetize their website. They seriously recommends others program like-Affiliate programs, product advertising, etc.
Here are some barriers:
- AdSense reads cookies.
- You have to maintain your traffic quality to keep secure your AdSense account.
- You can’t place any other contextual advertising program and Google AdSense at same time.
- You have to maintain your Page CTR (Click Through Rate).
- It takes too much time to generate decent revenue from your website.

I'm so sorry that AdSense in not working for you. AdSense is only working when your contents and displayed ads are totally relevant to your blog topic. So, work with your blog related keywords in your content as well as in your blog description and meta tag. Hope it will work…
